Jews Deserved not Jesus ;
Muslims Deserved Not The Taliban

More than two thousand years ago, when the rebelliousness of the Jews, the people among men upon whom Allâh had showered more blessings than anyone else before them (“O Children of Israel! Remember My favor wherewith I favored you and how I preferred you (for My message) over (all) creatures” [Qur’ân 2:48]), had transgressed to the point that they would blatantly defy Allâh’s laws, including to set up their money-changing tables right inside the temples, Allâh sent them one more warner from among themselves. (“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” [Matthew 15:24]). He, the last warner, tried very hard to help the Jews but it was in vain (“And Jesus ( - peace be upon him) went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” [Matthew 21:12,13]). The Jews were furious. They could tolerate anything except someone who tampered with their usurious money-making. Instead of obeying and following him to gain salvation, the Jews plotted to kill him. They succeeded in convincing the “super power” of that day that Jesus ( - peace be upon him) was a threat to their civilization and indeed to humanity. The super power was also concerned because the message of Jesus ( - peace be upon him) was gaining popularity among the Jewish masses. The threat had to be eliminated before the “fundamentalism” being taught by Jesus ( - peace be upon him) gained uncontrollable strength. Judas became the traitor. (“Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests, And said [unto them], What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.” “Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.” [Matthew 26:14 ,15,25]). Allâh in all his mercy plotted against the Jews and Judas:

“When the soldiers with Judas drew near to the place where Jesus was, Jesus heard the approach of many people. Wherefore in fear he withdrew into the house. And the eleven were sleeping. Then God, seeing the danger of his servant, commanded Gabriel, Michael, Rafael, and Uriel, his ministers, to take Jesus out of the world. The holy angels came and took Jesus out by the window that looketh toward the South. They bore him and placed him in the third heaven in the company of angels blessing God for evermore. Judas entered impetuously before all into the chamber whence Jesus had been taken up. And the disciples were sleeping. Whereupon the wonderful God acted wonderfully, insomuch that Judas was so changed in speech and in face to be like Jesus that we believed him to be Jesus. And he, having awakened us, was seeking where the Master was. Whereupon we marvelled, and answered: ‘Thou, Lord, art our master. Hast thou now forgotten us?, And he, smiling, said: ‘Now are ye foolish, that know not me to be Judas Iscariot !’ And as he was saying this the soldiery entered, and laid their hands upon Judas, because he was in every way like to Jesus. We, having heard Judas’ saying, and seeing the multitude of soldiers, fled as beside ourselves. And John, who was wrapped in a linen cloth, awoke and fled, and when a soldier seized him by the linen cloth he left the linen cloth and fled naked. For God heard the prayer of Jesus, and saved the eleven from evil. The soldiers took Judas and bound him, not without derision. For he truthfully denied that he was Jesus, and the soldiers, mocking him, said; ‘Sir, fear not, for we are come to make thee king of Israel, and we have bound thee because we know that thou dost refuse the kingdom.’” [Gospel of Barnabas 215-217]

Allâh confirms this fate of Jesus ( - peace be upon him), while saying nothing about the details in the Qur’ân, in the most definite words, “And because of their saying: ‘We slew the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, Allah’s messenger. They slew him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture ; they slew him not for certain, Nay Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in Power Wise.” [Qur’ân, 4:158-159]

The Jews, descendents of Yaqoob ( - peace by upon him) (Jacob), have been especially treated by Allâh. When Allâh saved them from the curse of Ferown (Pharaoh) in Egypt, He sent two prophets (Musa and Haroun (peace be upon them) (Moses and Aaron) and at the end sealed their fate also with two prophets (Isa and Yahya (peace be upon them) (Jesus and John). In between there was a continuous chain of prophets to warn them. At no time were they without a prophet. Yet They proved to be undeserving of this great favor of Allah. So Allâh sealed their fate and raised Isa ( - peace be upon on him) unto Himself.

Presently there is no country in the world that implements the laws of Allâh in its jurisdiction. Taliban had, in spite of their shortcomings, instituted a system that was based strictly on Sharî'ah. The Muslim people of Afghanistan accepted it as their representative government. If left to itself it would have “turned the tables of the moneychangers and driven them out of the temple” not just in Afghanistan but because of a domino effect in other Muslim lands as well. The Kuffar, especially the “moneychangers” could not tolerate this trend. They convinced the “superpower” of the time to destroy this tiny, impoverished example before it became unmanageable. The so-called Muslim governments, by betraying and abandoning the Taliban, played the role of Judas, and the Muslims, especially of Afghanistan, proved undeserving of it. So Allâh withdrew the blessing as easily as it came to be. In time the “Judas” may have to pay a price far more severe than the one Judas paid.

Meanwhile, if the dastardly efforts of establishing a puppet government in Afghanistan succeed, no representative government will be born. There are more than 50 other Muslims lands that have a pseudo-democracy or pseudo-colonialism or pseudo-dictatorship controlling the fate of the Muslim people. They are not representative of the people but only serve the purpose of their “moneychanger” masters. So they will perpetuate and Muslims would be forcefully denied representative governments. A representative Muslim government without Sharî'ah is a self contradiction.

Simultaneously “Muslims” all over the world will receive soothing goodwill messages and will be distracted by issuance of Eid stamps, festival holidays and other such pacifiers. A recent example of this is the Ramadhan greeting to the world’s Muslim communities by the US President G. W. Bush. He, while sending his “sincerest wishes to Muslim, in America and around the world for health, prosperity, and happiness during Ramadhan and throughout the coming year”, also gave a glimpse of the part of Islâm that may be acceptable. He said, “The Islâm that we know is a faith devoted to the worship of one God, as revealed through the holy Qur’ân. It teaches the value and importance of charity, mercy and peace.” Is there any Muslim leader who has the courage to tell the president that the Islâm that we know teaches us, in addition to the importance of charity, mercy and peace, to turn the tables of the moneychangers and drive them out of the temple? Is there anyone to tell him that the Islâm that we know also teaches us not to be complacent with indecency, lewdness, pornography, homosexuality, promiscuity, intoxication, fornication, gambling and a host of other vices that the secular system not only permits but seems to dutifully encourage? Above all is there anyone to tell him, “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah) never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost. (Qur’ân, 3:85). We hear a deafening silence.

Humanity, especially Muslims, must sooner or later realize that ‘We will get not what we deserve not.’
