Membership and participation in the activities of the Islamic Center of Hamden is open to all Muslims -- regardless of background, language, school or methodology of fiqh, etc. Our intention is to operate solely on the foundation of the Qur'an-al-Kareem and Sunnah of Rasuulullaah to the best of our knowledge and ability. Fundraising

The Islamic Center of Hamden is currently raising funds in order to begin construction of a masjid (mosque) in the town of Hamden. Approximately 3 acres of land have already been purchased at 698 Newhall Street. Donations may be sent to the address below.

(All donations are tax-exempt.)

Location & Directions

The Islamic Center of Hamden is currently renting rooms near the center of Hamden, where a weekend and after-school Madrasah is held as are other events such as Jumu'ah every week, community dinners once a month, and Taraweeh prayers during Ramadaan. The address is:
