Lesson 28: Darood Shareef
O Allah, let Your blessing come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.

Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported the
Messenger of Allah (
) saying: He who invokes one
blessing upon me, Allah will shower ten blessings upon him.”
Ibn Mas’ood (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the
Messenger of Allah (
) said: “The nearest one to me
on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who invoked the most blessings upon
me.” (Mishkaat)
Lessons 29-30: Selected Remembrances
Glorified is Allah, and praised is He.
Glorified is Allah, the Greatest.[2]
Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the
Prophet (
) said: “There
are two expressions which are light on the tongue, heavy in the scale, and loved
by the Beneficent: [the words above].” (Bukhaari and Muslim)
There is no god except Allah, the One and Only, the Eternal, Who has not taken a partner nor a son. And there is none like unto Him.
Tameem ad-Daariy (Allah be pleased with him) said that the
Messenger of Allah (
) said: “Whoever says the words
above ten times, then 40,000 (forty thousand) good deeds will be recorded for
him (in his account).” (Virtues of Dhikr. Ahmad)
