Lesson 28: Darood Shareef

O Allah, let Your blessing come upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly You are the Praiseworthy, the Glorious.[1]

Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported the Messenger of Allah ( ) saying: He who invokes one blessing upon me, Allah will shower ten blessings upon him.”

 

Ibn Mas’ood (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ( ) said: “The nearest one to me on the Day of Resurrection will be the one who invoked the most blessings upon me.” (Mishkaat)

 

 

Lessons 29-30: Selected Remembrances

Glorified is Allah, and praised is He.
Glorified is Allah, the Greatest.[2]

Abu Hurairah (Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet ( ) said: “There are two expressions which are light on the tongue, heavy in the scale, and loved by the Beneficent: [the words above].” (Bukhaari and Muslim)

 

There is no god except Allah, the One and Only, the Eternal, Who has not taken a partner nor a son. And there is none like unto Him.

Tameem ad-Daariy (Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah ( ) said: “Whoever says the words above ten times, then 40,000 (forty thousand) good deeds will be recorded for him (in his account).” (Virtues of Dhikr. Ahmad)
